The Father heart of God and His promise for your healing

I’m constantly amazed at the loving heart of our Father in heaven. He has made so many promises to us throughout the Bible and the onus is on us to believe that He will act on those promises. Take this one in Exodus for example:

If you worship the Lord your God, I will bless your bread and your water. I will take away sickness from you (Ex. 23:25 New Century Version).

Worshipping from the heart is the key to walking in perfect health. Worshipping is more than singing hymns of praise to God. It is more than devoting time to Him in prayer. It is also about believing what He says and honouring His words.

Specifically, what does that mean in the light of you being sick?

1. It means that you believe these words. God will heal you of ANY disease.

2. It means that you will speak and act as if God has healed you.

3. It means to close every door to the devil and trust entirely in God.

Closing the door to the devil means that you will refrain from speaking harmful words over yourself or others. Ill-informed people say that God wants them to be sick for many reasons that they’ll unreservedly tell you.

You place curses on yourself or others by saying things like, “I’m sick and tired….”, “My sickness…”, “I’m no better…”, “God is testing your faith”, “You’re suffering so you can have empathy for others in suffering”, “It’s not God’s will for you to be healed”, “I believe but nothing happens”. Commonly sick people are visited by faithful Christians who pray great prayers of faith over them to be made well and who then leave the bedside and give an evil report about how sick the person was.

Have you been speaking evil words over yourself or others because you didn’t understand the power behind your words?

Repent of your harmful words and when others speak death over you, rebuke the source of those words by saying:

I rebuke you satan and command you to go in the name of Jesus. Jesus gave me the authority to silence you from putting word curses over me. I do NOT have this disease. Jesus purchased my healing when He went to the cross. By His stripes I am healed (Isa. 53:5).
